Isolation and characterization of 3D chitin from a mite species Trachytes pauperior (Parasitiformes: Uropodina)

چکیده
Chitin is the most abundant structural biopolymer after cellulose in terrestrial ecosystems. Until now, chitin isolation powder or granule form has been carried out from many macro living groups (Arthropoda, Crustacea, Mollusca etc.). However, studies on characterization of microscopic organisms have remained limited. In this study, three dimensional (3D) extraction was performed for first time Trachytes pauperior (Berlese), a mite species. The obtained observed by light microscopy and characterized FT-IR, SEM analysis. Our findings suggest that chitin, which high purity constitutes large part organism's body structure, could be potential source future studies.

Laelaps neacomydis n. sp. is described from the pelage of the rodent Neacomys spinosus collected in Bolivia. Collection records from northern Brazil, southeastern Peru, and central Bolivia indicate its wide distribution across Amazonas associated with rodents of the genus Neacomys. The formal taxonomic description and illustrations are derived from the adults (female and male). Two larger speci...

Chitin the second most abundant after cellulose biopolymer found in nature after, is produced by many living organisms, and is present usually in a complex with other polysaccharides and proteins. Chitin was found as a major component in arthropods (insects, crustaceans, arachnids and myriapods), nematodes, algae and fungi. In this study Chitin was isolated from various species (crab, squilla, ...
